“John Mulaney Drops Bombshell: Only 2 SNL Hosts Have ‘Committed Murder’—Guess Who!”

John Mulaney stunned the audience during Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary when he joked that out of 894 hosts, only two have committed murder.

Performing alongside Steve Martin, Mulaney quipped, “It amazes me that only two of them have committed murder.” While he didn’t name names, he was likely referring to OJ Simpson (hosted in 1978) and Robert Blake (hosted in 1982).

🔹 OJ Simpson was acquitted in the infamous 1994 trial for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman but was later found liable in a civil case. He passed away in 2024 at age 76.

Ryan Reynolds’ Unexpected Joke Amid Blake Lively Drama

The SNL 50th anniversary event also saw Ryan Reynolds take a dig at the ongoing Blake Lively–Justin Baldoni legal feud over It Ends With Us.

Lively and Baldoni have filed lawsuits against each other, making Reynolds and Lively’s appearance together all the more surprising. Fans were left buzzing over the unexpected moment.

Ryan Reynolds’ SNL Joke Takes Aim at Blake Lively–Justin Baldoni Scandal

The SNL 50th Anniversary event took an unexpected turn when Ryan Reynolds playfully referenced the ongoing Blake Lively–Justin Baldoni legal battle during a moment with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

When Fey and Poehler spotted Reynolds in the audience, they asked, “Ryan! How’s it going?” Standing up, Reynolds quipped, “Great! Why, what have you heard?” Lively, seated beside him, looked visibly surprised—though the moment appeared planned.

The joke comes amid serious legal drama. In December, Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment and emotional distress. Baldoni, who was dropped by his agency after the allegations, denied the claims and counter-sued Lively and Reynolds for $400 million, accusing them of attempting to destroy his career.

The unexpected moment had fans buzzing, proving that even at a milestone celebration, SNL wasn’t afraid to address Hollywood’s biggest controversies.
