Kanye West Deletes X Account After Super Bowl Rant Against Taylor Swift

Kanye West, also known as Ye, has deleted his X (formerly Twitter) account after a controversial Super Bowl rant about Taylor Swift and a series of offensive posts.

Earlier in the week, West caused a stir at the Grammys with a stunt involving his wife, Bianca Censori. His social media outbursts, including antisemitic remarks and inflammatory statements, led to widespread backlash, with celebrities like David Schwimmer and Piers Morgan calling for his ban from X.

During the Super Bowl, West targeted Swift, criticizing her presence at the game and accusing her of undermining Black culture. Shortly after, he announced his departure from X, thanking Elon Musk for letting him “vent” and comparing his experience to an Ayahuasca trip.

Meanwhile, Swift was booed by Philadelphia Eagles fans at the game but appeared unbothered, sharing a side-eye moment with her suite guests, including Ice Spice and the Haim sisters.

Former President Donald Trump also made history as the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl in person, later sharing a post celebrating the crowd’s reaction—claiming he received “massive cheers” while Swift was booed.
