“Trump Admin Reveals Urgent Plan to Slash Soaring Egg Prices—Here’s How!”

With egg prices reaching record highs, Trump officials are urgently working on a solution. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced Wednesday that the administration is considering importing eggs as a short-term fix.

“We’re talking to several countries that can get us eggs right away,” Rollins said from the White House lawn. “This would not be a long-term fix, but it will immediately help bring prices down.”

The move is part of a five-pronged strategy to lower costs, which includes deregulation, biosecurity investments, repopulating flocks, and funding vaccine research.

Rollins blamed government overreach for the skyrocketing prices, telling Fox News’ Dana Perino, “The egg prices we’re seeing now are the result of overregulation, too many rules, too much government… Scaling back regulations is part of this plan as well.”

In January, the average price of a dozen eggs hit a staggering $4.95, nearly double the $2.52 price from the previous year.

Egg Shortages Hit Hard, But Relief Is on the Way, Says Trump Official

As egg shortages continue, grocery stores are limiting purchases, and restaurants like Denny’s and Waffle House have added egg surcharges to offset rising costs.

Despite the challenges, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins remains optimistic.

“We see a significant plan with substantial funding moving ahead,” she said. “Relief is right around the corner for American taxpayers, consumers, and poultry farmers.”
