“Whoopi Goldberg Exposes the Left’s Explosive Trans Debate!”

For years, Democrats have pushed the idea that biological sex doesn’t matter—especially in sports—despite clear evidence to the contrary. But cracks are starting to show.

California Governor Gavin Newsom, known for his political savvy, recently surprised many by conceding the fairness issue in women’s sports. Speaking with conservative activist Charlie Kirk on his new podcast, Newsom admitted, “I completely agree with you on that … it’s deeply unfair.” His willingness to even engage with Kirk highlights how politically toxic the Democrats’ usual stance has become.

Meanwhile, The View’s Whoopi Goldberg took the opposite approach during a discussion with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Dismissing concerns, Goldberg said, “When you say ‘these are men competing against women,’ you’re assuming the women are weak… So I’m not sure why this is an issue.”

Yet, the numbers say otherwise. According to the United Nations, as of March 2024, over 600 female athletes have lost nearly 900 medals to biological males across 29 different sports.

Goldberg’s take feels out of touch with the struggles of female athletes today—athletes like Riley Gaines, who had to share an NCAA championship spot with a biological male, or Peyton McNabb, whose sports career ended after taking a brutal spike to the head from a male player.

As the debate intensifies, it’s clear the Left is far from united on this issue.

Whoopi Goldberg Throws Female Athletes Under the Bus

Citing “empowerment,” Whoopi Goldberg is effectively sacrificing female athletes—allowing biological men to invade women’s sports, take their trophies, scholarships, and compromise their safety.

This debate isn’t complicated. Science is clear: biological men have, on average, greater muscle mass, larger hearts and lungs, higher oxygen capacity, and denser bones than women. A 2020 study found that teenage boys and adult men outperform female athletes by 10–13% in endurance sports, 16–22% in activities like jumping, kicking, and tennis serves, and by even more in weightlifting. There’s a reason women’s sports exist separately.

By Goldberg’s logic, all sports should be co-ed—an idea that would destroy competitive fairness. But The View’s cast, like many progressive elites, is too insulated to grasp reality. The same goes for much of the Democratic Party, which remains stuck in ideological bubbles even after recent political setbacks.

Some brave voices, like Maine Republican Laurel Libby, have spoken out against men in women’s sports—only to face backlash. Democratic Congressman Seth Moulton admitted, “As a Democrat, I’m supposed to be afraid to say that” when expressing concerns about his daughters competing against biological males.

Until more leaders break ranks, Democrats risk staying in the political wilderness—while everyday Americans move on.
